Dawn Willey
CEO and Founder
Dawn Willey is CEO and Founder of Bridgeforce, Inc, a consumer lending and payments card business solutions provider. Previously, Ms. Willey was Executive Vice President of MBNA through its startup and growth years. During Dawn’s 16 year career at MBNA, she managed operations, and guided the investment evaluation and development of strategic business technology initiatives for collections, fraud, credit acquisition and portfolio risk management.

As CEO of Bridgeforce, Dawn has led the company to profitable performance since its inception. She credit’s the company’s success to the strength of the management team and a deep commitment to deliver high impact results to our clients. Customers include some of the top banks, consumer lenders, student lenders and financial service software providers in the U.S. and U.K.

John Sanders
Chief Operating Officer and Founder
John draws on his banking and quality assurance expertise to collaborate with financial institutions in all functional areas of credit and risk management, with a specific focus on captive auto, medical, and student loans, as well as all types of consumer finance. As a successful entrepreneur and COO of Bridgeforce, John combines his knowledge of strategic business planning with a detailed, results-oriented approach to improve his clients’ profitability in the areas of

  • credit acquisition by implementing sound judgmental lending practices
  • collections processing by analyzing and designing efficient interactions among the individual business units involved
  • fraud transactions and identity theft by re-engineering technical applications that qualify transactions at the point of sale
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Towson University.

Brian S. Reiss
Managing Director - US Practice
Building on 15 years of experience in all facets of consumer financial services, Brian consults with Bridgeforce clients to evaluate, design, and implement strategic solutions in the areas of consumer credit and collections. Brian combines his expertise in both operations and technology to optimize a client’s performance in customer acquisition and underwriting, portfolio management, collections, and loss mitigation by

  • analyzing credit policies, marketing programs, and customer management strategies to reduce the cost per/account
  • assessing operations groups to identify bottom line performance improvement
  • developing operational workflow models and implementing multi-channel strategies to improve existing account profitability and customer satisfaction
  • designing reporting and forecasting tools that effectively manage customer portfolios
  • training and coaching underwriters, collectors, loss mitigators, floor supervisors, and other personnel to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Delaware.

Matt Scarborough
Managing Director - International Practice
With banking expertise ranging from credit and risk management to software solutions, Matt works closely with some of the world’s largest banks to improve performance of home equity loans, first mortgages, student loans, and credit cards. Before joining Bridgeforce, Matt founded, owned, and managed a software business that provided security solutions for banking, healthcare, and governmental agencies. Matt brings this entrepreneurial expertise to Bridgeforce, where he leads our International Practice and has improved clients’ performance by

  • redesigning business processes and technology infrastructures within student lending
  • re-engineering collections and recovery operations in the US and abroad, including implementing policy and process changes rapidly
  • evaluating opportunities to diversify via new products and credit segments
  • developing new credit acquisition and portfolio management strategies
Matt holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Delaware.

Don Sanders
Senior Advisor
As a result of several innovative technology solutions introduced by Don during his 30 years in the consumer finance industry, he has achieved eminent status in the field of risk management. He gained distinction by bringing the technology developed for financial services into new areas within and outside of that industry, and has earned prominence as a change agent through his thought leadership. In management positions at Korvettes Department stores, Citicorp, and Commercial Credit Corporation, he introduced credit scoring, brought in decision support software, and instilled a credit culture based upon science and technology but integrated with the human side of the credit and collection process. In 1990, Don co-founded Credit and Risk Management Associates, Inc. (CRMA), a risk management, marketing, consulting, data warehousing, and systems integration firm that was acquired by Fair Isaac Corporation in 1996. Don holds a B.S in Accounting from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD, and a Master of Science in Administration, with a concentration in Business Financial Management, from George Washington University.

John M. Savage
Chief Security Officer and
Director of Technology

Developing mission critical applications coupled with extensive operational experience within Information Technology, John brings 23 years of experience to clients. John has extensive knowledge of telephony technologies with working expertise of the tools and software used within the financial sector. Prior to Bridgeforce, John held critical management positions in the aerospace, banking, education and software industries. John is able to utilize this knowledge to improve customer’s performance by

  • optimizing collections management, operations and strategies
  • assessing opportunities to enhance the use of technology in the areas of underwriting, loss mitigation, collections and portfolio management
  • developing advanced workflows, models and communication tactics to lower costs, improve performance and impact profits
  • training and mentoring collectors, loss Mitigators, managers and quality control personnel to enhance their skills and improve results
  • assisting clients with the creation or modification of existing mission critical applications in support of the credit life cycle
  • assessing technology needs and selecting the appropriate solutions that best meet customer's requirements
John holds a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Delaware Tech.
